Juliet's Day Spa uses custom-fitted bleaching trays and 10% carbamide peroxide - the same system used by dental offices nationwide.
The Gentle Touch%trade; system is developed by Sigmacon Pharmaceuticals to provide a safe, easy, fast and effective alternative to laser bleaching.
How It Works
The enamel on the surface of your teeth contains countless microscopic pores that over time become discolored and stained as a
result of absorbing food, beverage and tobacco particles. Carbamide peroxide is effectively delivered to the surface of your teeth
through application of the whitening gel. The custom trays provided to you ensure direct and uniform application of the whitening
gel to your tooth enamel.
Results vary from patient to patient depending on stain type, stain intensity and tooth
structure characteristics.

A: Until now, dentists have enjoyed a monopoly in which high priced tooth whitening was the norm.
Recently, there was a clarification from the FDA that tooth whitening is a "cosmetic" and not a "dental process"; thus,
allowing Juliet's Day Spa to offer the service and at a more economical price.
Q: How much whiter will my teeth become?
A: You can reasonably expect a two to three shade change. The end result will depend on the structure of your teeth
and the type of stains. A shade guide is provided with your kit to help determine the color and shade of your teeth before
and after your treatments.
Q: How long will the results last?
A: Results will last at least 6 months and for as long as two to five years with proper oral hygiene and good dental
care. If you drink coffee or tea or smoke you may require a touch up every 4-6 months.
Q: Will it damage my teeth or gums?
A: No. Studies on Carbamide Peroxide, the active ingredient in the whitening gel, have shown that the product is
completely safe and does not damage teeth or gums.
Q: Will it cause sensitivity?
A: Sigma Gentle Touch™ is designed to be gentle on your teeth and gums. Only a small percentage of users will
experience minor sensitivity. Studies have proven this effect to be temporary and that it dissipates after a day or two.
